We’ve hit the middle of January, folks, and that has to mean something good, right?
If we want to honor the ‘big stars’ of the week, we will have to give a shout out to the fact that it is during this week that Mercury goes direct after a retrograde period that took us into this new year and in anticipation of Aquarius season, being set out on our way on the 20th of the month. This week!
While these transits bring us a kind of freedom and relief, they are positioned among several other ‘less glamorous’ transits and one or two may even be considered… miserable. For every forward move we make, we may be tempted to step back, as our confidence will be tested, and some of us may not pass that test. However, there is a very specific ‘tone’ to the week that leads to success.
While we may have a great week, the work will be getting to the ‘big’ part. In other words, this week brings us the idea of self-effort which is the key to all successful movements.
Nothing is falling into our laps, and while it may not be a particularly difficult week, due to transits like the Venus square Moon, Saturn square Moon and the Moon opposite Mars, our successes will be hard-learned lessons.
We will earn our happiness this week. We will work for our success. It’s not falling from the sky, which means we have to do it all for ourselves. Not a terrible lesson, at that.

(March 21 – April 19)
Nothing moves fast for you this week. Because you’re super hyped for positivity and progress, you’ll want to dive head first into whatever creative project suits you.
What’s holding you back this week is that even though you have big goals and plans, no one around you seems able to move at the pace you need to move, and that frustrates you. This week is all about you waiting for other people to catch up. It looks like Mercury retrograde wants one more round with you.
Taurus
(April 20 – May 20)
You may learn a lesson the hard way this week, Taurus, as it looks like you might get caught up in something you can’t handle. You may have wanted to show off or pretend to be an expert in an area that you are somewhat ignorant of, and what will happen is that you will be called out and humiliated.
Well, no one will do the humiliation, but you will still feel awkward. It’s a week for humility, Taurus, and while it may sting you, you’ll understand what’s going on.
Gemini
(May 21 – June 20)
Here’s a week where you need quiet, focus and privacy as you feel your creative juices are all flowing and whatever you’re up to will be good.
You will get what you need, but the week will bring obstacles and crazy interference that you do NOT need. You feel good, artistic and driven; now, your only problem will be finding a single day when you can finish what you started.

(June 21 – July 22)
Well, at least someone is making money this week, Cancer, and congratulations on that. You are diligent and attentive in your work this week. You have something in mind and you need to save for it; this week, you will find few obstacles in your way.
You have your eyes on the prize, which is your hard-earned paycheck. You will find virtually no temptation to spend this week, so the money you save will feel like winning the lottery. Stay on track and keep going!
Leo
(July 23 – August 22)
You may be asked to prove yourself this week as it seems you have been ‘selected’ for some project and they still need you to prove yourself. This will be a no-brainer for you, Leo, as you already know that you have what it takes and that the job/project/plan is practically meant for you.
And the great part is that you are right; you will take this opportunity and shine. You’re the right person to fit the bill, and your display of strength and confidence makes ‘them’ know they’ve chosen wisely.
Virgo
(August 23 – September 22)
Here’s a week to remember, Virgo. While the rest of the world is getting their lives together and finally feeling ‘ready’ for the new year, you’re still in the mood to celebrate and set the world on fire.
You feel strong but driven, and you’ll probably end up recruiting friends along the way; you should be surrounded by people who don’t care about anything this week. You’ll break the rules and get away without a worry. You are the ultimate opponent of Virgo this week and your presence will leave its mark.
Libra
(September 23 – October 22)
This week is a bit difficult for you, because you will experience something that you do not appreciate: boredom. This week makes you make an ‘executive’ decision to walk away from something you’ve considered inferior. You’ve worked hard, Sagittarius, and you’re a super-producer—you don’t stop working.
