Viewers spotted the 22-year-old looking drunk as she, Emma and the film’s director Miguel Sapochnik accepted the award for best TV series for the hit show.
Milly could hardly contain her excitement as she clung to Emma, laughing and pointing at the audience.
After the ceremony, she was seen continuing the party at a party at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.
The HBO star swapped the chic black dress she wore to the Golden Globes for brown slacks and a black leather jacket.
Social media users went wild with the TV star’s actions during the awards show, calling Milly out for appearing to be “dissolved” on live TV.
“Milly Alcock lost at the golden globes is top notch,” one person tweeted.
“Not that drunk Milly Alcock laughing video hitting 100k in less than 2 hours I know what they are,” laughed another.
“Milly Alcock is so drunk RN lmao I love her #GoldenGlobes,” said a third.
And a fourth commented: “LMAO @ Natasha standing next to a drunk Milly Alcock someone give this girl some bread! loved every minute of it.”
Milly wasn’t the only celebrity to shock viewers on stage at Tuesday night’s ceremony.
White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge also had a stunning moment while accepting her first Golden Globe award.
The 61-year-old actress gave a rather memorable speech, wearing a floor-length sequin dress.
She began by simply saying, “Thank you. Thank you so much. Wow. Thank you Hollywood Foreign Press. It really means a lot.”
The Legally Blonde star then joked: “I can pull this off, can’t I? I can’t. You know what I mean? I can’t hold it that long.”
Her speech took a turn as she began to reflect on some of the most challenging times in her career, recalling: “There were about five people that kept me going for about 20 years with these little jobs, and Ryan Murphy, you were one of them. …It was you, Ryan, and let’s see, we got it… Well, who else was there? It was just you, Ryan.
“I didn’t know anybody, and it was just this thing that wouldn’t go anywhere, and then there were these people who would give me these cool little jobs that would keep me going.”
She said: “Some of these things would go on like five different sequels … American Pie – I’ve milked that thing to the bone. I’m still going for six, seven – whatever they want.”
Jennifer then turned her attention to The White Lotus creator Mike White, saying: “Mike White. I just, you know, I really want you all to know that I had such big dreams and expectations as a younger person, but what happens I thought I was going to be the queen of Monaco, but someone else did.”
Her closing sentence was then cut short as she swore and was censored.
After admitting her mistake, the star continued: “Mike White, you’ve given me hope even if it’s the end because you killed me. You’ve just changed my life in a million different ways and my neighbors are talking to me. I’ve never been invited to a party on my hill, and now everyone is inviting me.
She started to say something else, starting with “Mike,” but was interrupted again by her NSFW language.
Jennifer concluded: “I just want to say this is a really fun night.”
An over-cautious censor started to make it sound like “fun”, but regretted it when she didn’t actually insult him.
