Raquel Leviss defiantly took to social media to update “Vanderpump Rules” fans on where she stands with co-star Tom Sandoval after their months-long relationship.
“Despite the vulnerable circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been genuine and born of a loving friendship,” Leviss wrote on Instagram Wednesday night.
“Knowing how many people we hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn to make better ones.”
Leviss said she now needs to focus on her mental health, as well as “working on self-growth and taking time to be okay with being alone.”
“I care about Tom and I don’t want to label anything or predict what’s ahead. For now, I need to recover,” her statement concludes.

The Bravolebrity officially broke her silence earlier Wednesday by sharing a lengthy statement with her 515,000 Instagram followers.
“I want to apologize for my actions and choices, above all for Ariana [Madix] and to my friends and fans who invested so much in our relationship,” she wrote.
“There is no excuse. I am not a victim and I have to own up to my actions and I am very sorry for hurting Ariana.”

The 28-year-old blamed the relationship on her “addiction” to love and vowed to do better from here on out.
“I’m reflecting on my choices, talking to a counselor, and learning things about myself, such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved,” she wrote.
“I sought emotional validation through unhealthy intimate relationships without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively impacting others and often prioritizing intimacy over my friendships.”

Leviss claimed she had been “physically assaulted, lost friendships, received death threats and hate mail” since the affair, dubbed “Scandoval”, hit the headlines last week, referring to a sex video she later the latter blamed her co-stars for her breakup.
“I started counseling to end my cycle of unhealthy behavior, learn to set stronger emotional boundaries and learn to protect my mental health,” she concluded, adding that she doesn’t “expect sympathy, understanding or forgiveness”.

Her statement came just hours after Tom Sandoval, 39, finally apologized to Madix.
“I want to apologize to Ariana. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve been selfish, and I’ve made reckless decisions that hurt someone I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly,” he wrote on Instagram early Wednesday.
“I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us. … My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana.”
