Paris Hilton squashes ‘conspiracy theories’ after posting picture with Britney Spears

Paris Hilton is not amused by the “conspiracy theories” that are running rampant in her Instagram comments section.

Hilton recently posted a slideshow of photos celebrating her friend Cade Hudson for his birthday. Several famous friends, including Britney Spears, Drew Barrymore, Emma Roberts, Tiffany Haddish and sister Nicky Hilton appeared in the photo set.

Fans quickly took to the 41-year-old’s comments section to speculate whether the photo with Spears was photoshopped.

“For anyone wondering. Some of these photos were taken on an iPhone so they ended up blurry,” Hilton wrote in her comments section. “So they used this app called Remini to make it look blurry and sometimes It distorts the images. They didn’t even want to start this with an answer. But some of these conspiracy theories are absolutely ridiculous.”

BRITNEY SPEARS RETURNS TO INSTAGRAM AFTER THE FALL

Spears, who often uses Instagram to communicate with her fans, was apparently the only person not tagged in Hilton’s post.

“Why are you using a Britney AI? If you’re (like) her friend why can’t you use the real one,” asked one user.

Several people drew attention to how Spears’ necklaces appeared in the photo, with one writing, “It’s really weird how half of the necklace chains are missing from the Britney pic. And what’s wrong with her fingers?” Another person added, “Wtf where is the other half of Britannia’s necklace? Not to mention her fingers, what’s wrong with them?”

“If an app was used to make Britney come undone and Paris is upset with people who keep asking about it, then maybe she should post the real picture to put an end to what everyone is thinking. .. just a thought,” one commenter suggested.

While the over-the-top comments about Spears certainly caught the attention of the “Stars Are Blind” singer, another user defended Hilton.

“Britney’s conspiracy comments are pure comedy gold…Don’t people realize she’s part of the problem too? Let her be! And Paris is a great friend to her, but she’s not controlling, she’s not responsible for it.”

Spears’ fans seem to be concerned about the pop star’s whereabouts, as the pop star has suspended comments on her Instagram account.

Many fans used the hashtags #JusticeforBritney and #FreeBritney2023 in Hilton’s comments section.

Spears was famous under a conservatory controlled by her father Jamie Spears for 13 years. It was raised in November 2021.
