Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Says She Gets ‘So Tired’ of Robyn Interjecting in Her and Kody’s Drama: ‘She’s Placating Him’
Done with the drama? Sister Wives star Janelle Brown got real about her feelings for Robyn Brown — and why she’s calling it quits on behalf of estranged husband Kody Brown. “I’m so tired of ‘Counselor Robyn,'” Janelle says in Us Weekly’s exclusive recap of the Sister Wives: One-on-One special, Part 3, which airs Sunday, Jan. 8.[She says] like, ‘Oh yeah, your pain. Your pain.” The Utah resident explains that Kody, meanwhile, “acts like she’s the only person who’s been rejected” since her sister Christine Brown left her and the family in 2021. “This whole thing with Christine has come down to one. long time and he acts so surprised by it,” Janelle tells host Sukanya Krishnan. “So I’m kind of like, ‘OK.’ Okay.’” The TLC/YouTube The Strive With Janelle founder — who shares children Logan, 28, Maddie, 27, Hunter, 25, Garrison, 24, Gabriel, 21, and Savanah, 18, with Kody, 53 — notes that Robyn, 43, trying to play peacemaker has become part of the problem, especially because she usually takes the Wyoming native’s side. “It just feels like it’s calming him down,” Janelle confesses. The mother-of-six says she “had rejection” from all sides before her split from Kody. (Janelle confirmed in December 2022 that she had been “separated for months” from her ex-husband.) “My boys felt just as rejected by it,” Janelle says in the clip, referring to the fallout between the Garrison boys and Gabriel with their father. , which began after Kody implemented his own family-friendly COVID-19 rules. The Becoming Sister Wives co-author recalls her estranged husband making it clear that it was their sons’ responsibility to mend fences — despite playing a role in their feud. “The first ultimatum was that they were going to apologize to him and apologize to Robyn,” Janelle recalls, noting that things haven’t improved since the 17th season ended. “He is not [really] made every effort. What I really felt was, ‘Janelle, you’re not leaving. You shouldn’t be leaving.
