Question: What are you trying ahead to most this week being away from the power and everybody on the highway right here in Florida?
Adams: “Obviously, we’re going to be hoping to get acclimated and come out here and get used to the heat and the humidity and all that. And obviously, the whole point was to do that, and eliminate a longer trip to the East Coast. So just soak in as much as we can with the weather and get used to the elements and go out and get a good practice every day this week.”
Question: We hear the phrase urgency rather a lot, lack of urgency final Sunday, we have to have a way of urgency this week. What are you seeing out of your crew after observe as we speak?
Adams: “That’s all, honestly. Good first practice. Obviously, things we can correct, but I think the urgency is there, guys trying to fight these elements a little bit. It’s a little different than what we did with the dry heat in Vegas. So like I said, get used to it. I’ve definitely seen an increased sense of urgency with the boys. A lot of them are going to come out starting fast with some of these earlier games that we’re playing, so we’re going to be on that side already, so hopefully that helps a little bit with that.”
Question: Want the guys to be pissed off after that game last week? What is the reaction you want from your teammates? Do you want them to take it personally the way that game went last week?

Adams: “I mean, we take it personal with ourselves. I mean, it’s not like they disrespected us in any way. We went out there and didn’t play as well as our opponent. They had a strong team and they came out and executed much better than we did. So I wouldn’t say take it personally. This is usually when there are things outside of the normal game that have happened; if there is disrespect and things like that. But I would say we have to take it personal the way we came out and played. We came out smooth and usually we start a lot faster than we did, so we just correct all those kinds of things.”
Question: Derek Carr talked about how that sport might be a wake-up name the place you clearly did not get it proper, collectively, and also you discovered a harsh lesson due to it. Could this be a instructing instrument?
Adams: “Yeah, I mean, we knew that already, but sometimes you have to experience it and there are some things. Nobody came into the game saying we want to be quiet, but the reality is you have to go back and make those changes right away. And obviously we learned from it and sometimes you hope to get a step up, but that obviously didn’t happen last time. So obviously we’re going to learn from what we did and go back and make the corrections so we can come out and start fast this time.”

Question: When you added to the mix and we looked at all the talent that was around here, there was probably an assumption that this was going to be smooth sailing and the Raiders were going to score 35-40 points a game as a result. How unrealistic was that considering you’re new to this, this is a new system?
Adams: “I hope individuals did not anticipate this. Just from the skin, I’m positive there have been barely increased, extra unrealistic expectations. But like I stated, you noticed what the camp regarded like, and that is mainly what it was like. I imply, we’re not going to sugar coat it, because it was numerous what individuals have been hoping to see.
