Here’s A List Of All Confirmed Weapons In Destiny 2 Lightfall

Destiny 2 has just revealed a slew of new exotic weapons and armor pieces coming to Lightfall this month, with the new Weapons and Gear trailer released this week. The trailer featured a total of four exotic weapons (counting the Quicksilver Storm) and three exotic armors, one for each class.

There has been a lot of debate and controversy surrounding the new and returning weapons in Lightfall since Bungie released the gameplay trailer during The Game Awards show last year. The trailer featured weapons that looked just like the weapons players unlock in the Moon destination, but with a new Neomuna skin.

So, in this article, we have compiled a list of all known and currently confirmed weapons coming to Destiny 2 Lightfall.

Exotic weapons

As we mentioned above, there are a total of four new exotic weapons that we know of so far, released with the Lightfall expansion; a Strand Sidearm, a Void Machine Gun, a Stasis Glaive, and a Lightfall pre-order bonus, Quicksilver Storm. Below you can find a list of all exotic weapons:

Final Alert: A Strand sidearm that fires charged tracer rounds. Deterministic Chaos: A hollow heavy machine gun that “rhythmically weakens” enemies every fourth shot. Winterbite: A new Stasis Glaive that freezes enemies when hit with the frost orb. Quicksilver Storm with Exotic Catalyst: Destiny 2 players who pre-ordered the Lightfall edition + Annual Pass can already use this exotic weapon in-game. However, we can see the exotic bullets shot Strand in the new trailer. So maybe, Bungie changed the weapon element from Kinetic to Strand. Now, let’s talk about the legendary weapons, which seem to be the main talking points in the community right now. Bungie has confirmed that Neptune’s Neomuna destination will have five weapons which are listed below.

Fusion Ball Grenade Launcher Rifle Pulse Rifle Sniper Rifle

In addition to the list of weapons above, there are several other weapons with new models that have yet to be revealed in addition to the Lightfall key art and gameplay trailer. As we can see, one of the key art images for Lightfall features a Hunter and a Titan respectfully holding a hand cannon and a grenade launcher, which we haven’t seen in the game before.

We’ve also got a shot from the Lightfall gameplay trailer, where we can see a Warlock wielding a Heavy Grenade Launcher (which looks a lot like the Canis Major Solar Grenade Launcher from Season of the Lost) cloaked in Stasis, and a Titan wielding it appears to be a heavy machine gun. It looks like Destiny 2’s vanilla scout rifle, Nameless Midnight, and Trust will also be returning in Lightfall, as seen in the trailer and reveal stream. You can view the images below.

So with all the reskinned weapons in the Lightfall debate, it should be pretty clear that there will be new weapons coming with the next big expansion in Destiny 2. Plus, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen some reskins added with an extension. Witch Queen also added bare weapons (Funnelweb, Krait, etc).

That said, we have yet to see the loot pool for the newly revealed 6-player event coming to Lighfall–Terminal Overload and the regular seasonal weapons in Season 20.
