The Woodlands Children’s Museum hosted a Saturday Lunar New Year lion dance performance by the Heavenly Dragon Houston Lion Kings.

There was also a special story time with The Year of the Rabbit: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac by Oliver Chin.

The Lunar New Year falls on January 22 and is the beginning of a calendar year whose months are lunar cycles, based on the lunar calendar or lunar calendar.
