Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper’s friendship has grown stronger since they became fathers.

Talking to best friend Bruce Bozzi this week about his Table for two podcast, Cohen discussed how his relationship with Cooper has grown stronger since the two entered fatherhood. Cooper is father to sons Sebastian Luke, 7 months, and Wyatt, 2, and Cohen to daughter Lucy Eve, 7 months, and son Benjamin Allen, 3½.

“We’re these geriatric patients who are running after our kids, but look it’s another connecting thing,” Cohen told Bozzi.

“I think what’s going to be really interesting for us as it develops is being gay dads and as our kids start to realize more and more, ‘Oh, I have gay dads.’ I’m so happy that Ben [Cohen] will grow with Wyatt [Cooper] and that Ben grew up watching Anderson and Benjamin [Maisani] raising Wyatt and Sebastian.”

In October, the Bravo personality, 54, and the CNN anchor, 55 — who have shared a close friendship for years — shared a scene from their hectic Saturday on Instagram, where they appeared to meet at a bookstore for an event for children with their children. .

Cohen captured the video of the two sitting around laughing in a room full of children chatting loudly and crying in the background.

While speaking with PEOPLE for ByHeart’s Feed Fest in November, a virtual summit featuring panels and master classes aimed at empowering new parents, the Bravo star shared how he’s navigating his new role as a father of two.

Since welcoming daughter Lucy and son Benjamin, Cohen said he’s had a “total shift in priorities.”

“I’m choosing to stay home with them a lot more than I ever would have,” he shared. “I haven’t been someone who’s ever stayed at home, so my priorities have just completely changed.”
