Andrew Jacked wanted to cancel his Mr. Olympia debut

Andrew Jacked’s trainer George Farah appeared as a guest on The Menace Podcast. The three hosts, Denis James, Chris Cormier and Milos Sarcev, joined him. During their conversation, Farah revealed that Chinedu Andrew Obiekea was ill during the Mr. Olympia competition. “The guy was on the scene. . . . He had a temperature of 102 degrees.” the veteran coach said to the trio.

Farah also said that the debutant already had asthma. “Then, all of a sudden, he got the dreaded bronchitis,” Farah said. The veteran trainer said the IFBB pro got so sick that he wanted to cancel his debut. “George, I don’t want to go and let them see me like that.” Andrew Jacked told his coach over the phone. However, Farah encouraged his student not to give up.

Despite falling ill, Obiekea decided to compete. The veteran coach praised his students for breaking the top 10 and ranking 8th despite being ill. “For me it’s a win,” Farah said during the podcast. Denis James said he thought something was wrong after an interview where the rookie bodybuilder talked about doing better in 2023.
