ROCKNPOD 2023 MUSIC EXPO To Feature Mr. Big’s Eric Martin and Members Of Twisted Sister, Dangerous Toys, Tuff, Keel, and More

The ultimate meeting place for music podcasters, fans, artists and vendors, ROCKNPOD Weekend 2023 will feature the annual ROCKNPOD Expo taking place on Saturday, March 18 at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Now in its sixth year, ROCKNPOD Expo will feature celebrity guests, vinyl/record retailers, music industry companies, podcast companies and music podcasters from around the world, as well as panel discussions, fan signings/photo sessions, podcasts live and tons of vendors and exhibits for attendees to browse. Additionally, the ROCKNPOD Expo will feature live music throughout the weekend event. According to ROCKNPOD organizer Chris Czynszak, “This event has become a true gathering place for people who support the past, present and future of rock. With podcast/content/blog creators becoming a bigger force in the music promotion world, this event is a fantastic place for artists, content creators, retailers and fans to connect. While the mainstream media continues to spread the idea of rock music’s decline, it is alive and well and ROCKNPOD is a testament to that. Plus, it’s a great time.”
Past ROCKNPOD guest artists include members of Megadeth, The Monkees, Tesla, Stryper, Accept, KISS, Mr. Big and many more, as well as former MTV veejays, standout comedians and multi-platinum producers. Best known as the leader of the hard rock supergroup Mr. Big, Eric Martin headlines the stellar list of special guests appearing at ROCKNPOD 2023. A list that also includes Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister), Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys), Mark Weiss (Rock Photographer), Craig Gass (Comedian) , Don Jamieson (comedian / That Metal Show), Stevie Rachelle (Tuff / Metal Sludge), Ron Keel and many more.
Joining pop culture event Nashville Comic Weekend on Sunday the 18th, Expo guests will also have access to comic artists, pop culture figures and more. “It just makes sense to expand the ROCKNPOD weekend with a Sunday event that focuses on comics, pop culture, horror, and more. Opening on Friday, March 17th with a pre-party concert at the Eastside Bowl near downtown Nashville, ROCKNPOD Weekend kicks off in style with the all-star Rare Hare jam session. Internationally known artists such as Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent, Whitford / St. Holmes), Jack Gibson (Exodus), Hugh McDonald (Bon Jovi), Troy Lucketta (Tesla / The Guess Who) and many others have performed in previous ones. events covering popular and classic hard rock songs and more and will last approximately three hours. Rare Hare has become an increasingly popular semi-annual event, partly due to its ability to attract well-known musicians, past and present, mainly from the hard rock field to participate and partly because of his fun, “plug and go!” script, rather than rehearsed sets, creating an atmosphere of danger and excitement. Rare Hare will begin at 7 p.m.
Saturday, March 18 will see ROCKNPOD 2023 in full swing as celebrity guests arrive to meet fans, do interviews and take part in panel discussions revolving around the music industry and “war stories “past scattered by the road, records and the like. The event will take place at Bowie’s in downtown Nashville and begins at 6 p.m.
ROCKNPOD 2023 will wrap up its whirlwind weekend with two events on Sunday, March 19: First, a screening of the cult classic KISS Exposed at the Full Moon Cinema with live commentary from comedians Craig Gass, Don Jamieson and Courtney Cronin Dold. And then the Punchlines and Backlines Comedy Show, which will be held in The Vinyl Lounge, featuring comedians Courtney Cronin-Dold, Craig Gass and Don Jamieson as well as a special acoustic performance by Eric Martin (Mr. Big).
