Serena Williams gives hilarious reaction to husband Alexis Ohanian getting animated while playing a video game

Serena Williams had a hilarious reaction to her husband, entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian, getting excited and animated while playing a video game. Williams joked that she felt like she married “that kid” at school.

Ohanian was quite engrossed in the game and let out a big sigh at one stage while apparently talking to another player online, attracting his wife’s attention.

“I totally married ‘that kid’ at school,” Serena Williams wrote on Instagram Stories, sharing the video. Serena Williams on Instagram.

While Ohanian may have been disappointed by something that happened in the video game he was playing, he certainly was disappointed a few days ago when he learned that a magazine used Serena Williams’ photo instead of Venus Williams along with the news of the latter’s withdrawal from Australian Open 2023.

Andy Roddick was the first to spot the mistake and shared the same on social media, giving a sarcastic response.

“Who will tell them it is not Venus?” Roddick tweeted.

Ohanian reacted to the mistake, using an angry-eyed emoji to show his frustration.

Ohanian, who is often in the business news world, recently stated that he has no interest in becoming CEO of Twitter in the event that Elon Musk steps down.

“I have no interest. There’s probably someone in leadership at Twitter today who is the right person for the job that we just don’t know about because they’re not a celebrity,” Ohanian said on a recent CNBC program. Alexis Ohanian was recently presented with a figurine for a now-famous moment featuring himself and his daughter Olympia, which took place during Williams’ 2022 US Open campaign. During one of Williams’ matches in the tournament, Ohanian was celebrating while wearing a T-shirt with an animated Olympia, and the T-shirt and the moment itself went viral on social media.

One of his business partners recently presented Ohanian with a figurine of that special moment, and he was thrilled to receive it.

“This is amazing. Thanks @cristina_laki I know exactly where I’m putting this in my office,” Ohanian tweeted.

Meanwhile, Williams herself has been spending a lot of time with her family and growing her business venture since she retired from tennis at the US Open. After initially hinting on several occasions that she might return to the tournament, it now appears that Williams has well and truly “evolved” away from pro tennis.
